I. Personal Information Privacy Policy

Purpose

Data collection on website www.karasound.com includes: email, phone number, username, login password, customer address (members). This is the information that www.karasound.com requires members to provide when registering to use services and for www.karasound.com to contact and confirm when customers register to use services on the website to ensure consumer rights.

Members will be responsible for securing and maintaining all service usage activities under their registered name, password and email. In addition, members are responsible for promptly notifying www.karasound.com about unauthorized use, abuse, security violations, and storage of usernames and passwords by third parties so that appropriate solutions can be implemented.

Scope of Information Use

Website www.karasound.com uses member-provided information to:

  • Provide services to Members;
  • Send notifications about information exchange activities between members and www.karasound.com;
  • Prevent activities that destroy member user accounts or impersonate Members;
  • Contact and resolve with members in special cases.
  • Not use members’ personal information outside the purpose of confirmation and contact related to transactions at www.karasound.com
  • In cases where required by law: www.karasound.com has the responsibility to cooperate in providing personal information of members when requested by judicial authorities including: Procuracy, courts, police investigation agencies related to any legal violations by customers. Apart from that, no one has the right to infringe on members’ personal information.

Members’ personal data will be stored until there is a request for deletion or members login and perform deletion themselves. In all other cases, members’ personal information will be secured on www.karasound.com servers.

When receiving these feedbacks, www.karasound.com will reconfirm information, must be responsible for responding with reasons and guiding members to restore and secure information again.

  • Personal information of members on website www.karasound.com is committed to absolute confidentiality according to the personal information protection policy of www.karasound.com. The collection and use of each member’s information is only done with the consent of that customer except in cases where the law provides otherwise.
  • Do not use, transfer, provide or disclose to any third party about members’ personal information without permission and consent from members.
  • In case the information storage server is attacked by hackers resulting in loss of members’ personal data, website www.karasound.com will be responsible for reporting the incident to competent authorities for timely investigation and processing and notifying members.
  • Absolutely secure all online transaction information of Members including invoice accounting information and digital documents in the level 1 secure data center area of www.karasound.com
  • The management of website www.karasound.com requires individuals when registering/purchasing as members to provide complete relevant personal information such as: Full name, contact address, email, ID number, phone number, account number, payment card number…, and be responsible for the legality of the above information. The management of website www.karasound.com is not responsible and will not resolve any complaints related to the rights of that Member if it is determined that all personal information provided by that member during initial registration is inaccurate.

II. Payment Security Policy

Security Commitment:

The card payment system on website www.karasound.com is provided by Payment Gateway Partners who have been licensed to operate legally in Vietnam. Accordingly, card payment security standards at website www.karasound.com ensure compliance with the security standards of Payment Gateway Partners.

We commit that documents and information including but not limited to cardholder information such as name, address, card number, card transaction information and/or other documents and information that we obtain or know during the process of providing goods and services are confidential information. We commit to maintaining confidentiality and safely storing these documents and information during the performance of our obligations with the highest seriousness to prevent other parties from using this information to commit fraud or violate the law.

Specific Regulations

– We only cooperate with Payment Gateway Partners licensed to operate by the State Bank of Vietnam. Customers can look up organizations licensed to operate and provide payment intermediary services here:

– Transaction policy for domestic and international card payments ensures compliance with security standards of Payment Gateway Partners including:

  • Customer financial information is protected by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol. SSL protocol will encrypt information provided by customers throughout the transaction process.
  • Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certification issued by Trustwave
  • Information security principles and regulations in the banking and finance industry according to regulations of the State Bank of Vietnam.

– Our payment transaction security policy applies to customers:

  • Customer payment card information is not stored on the www.karasound.com system. When placing orders and using bank cards to pay for purchases on www.karasound.com, customers will enter card information on the Payment Gateway Partner’s system.

– When issues arise related to payment card information security, customers contact the payment gateway partner for resolution.
