Warranty Policy
Karasound’s warranty policy will depend on the scope of application of the product and the time when the product is provided.
Warranty Period
12-month warranty applies to all genuine Karasound brand products from the original purchase date on the invoice or from the warranty activation date.
30-day replacement applies to all genuine Karasound brand products from the original purchase date on the invoice or from the warranty activation date for manufacturer defects. Free 2-way shipping included.
Warranty Format
Karasound products are subject to electronic warranty and do not require a warranty card. Products subject to electronic warranty must be activated to enjoy genuine warranty benefits. Please contact your place of purchase for product activation support.
2.1 In case the product is not activated according to regulations (warranty expiration), the warranty period will be calculated according to the purchase date on the financial invoice, but not exceeding 03 months from the warranty expiration date calculated from the time of warehouse release.
2.2 In case the product is not activated and there is no financial invoice to determine the purchase date, the warranty period will be based on the warehouse release date on electronic warranty system.
2.3 There are 3 forms of warranty:
+ Repair warranty – free replacement of components
+ Replacement warranty – replacement with equivalent product of the same model, type with equivalent functions at the original purchase price.
+ Refund warranty in case the product cannot be repaired (affecting the entire product operation), and there is no equivalent replacement product, refund will be based on the original purchase price.
* Note: To be eligible for replacement warranty, the product box and accessories must be retained.
Valid Warranty Conditions
– Product is still within the warranty period
– Product has hardware (internal components) that is malfunctioning or has manufacturer defects.
– Product has never been repaired by a third party or user has not attempted self-repair.
– Product is not affected by environmental factors (no water infiltration, corrosive chemicals, overheating, etc.).
– Product must retain complete serial number information.
Warranty Rejection Conditions and includes the following cases
– Product has exceeded the warranty period according to electronic warranty information.
– Serial number on device and electronic warranty information or purchase invoice do not match or cannot be determined.
– Product is damaged due to improper use according to user manual, unauthorized modification, or use of third-party software/peripherals.
– Product is damaged due to dropping, breaking, impact, scratches, dents, moisture, rust, water damage.
– Product shows signs of damage from insect intrusion or incidents due to fire, natural disasters, lightning, burning, water, oxidation, incorrect voltage usage (power supply, output) or voltage fluctuations, improper ventilation, or other force majeure events beyond control.
– Product has been self-repaired by individuals or third parties.
– External and internal components worn over time such as: remote control, various signal jacks, various speaker charging jacks, charging cables, speaker buttons, power cords, adapter chargers, batteries (in general), casing, knobs, handles, speaker wires, speaker grilles, headphone ear cushions, headphone signal cables with internal breaks, speaker cabinet panels, crossover wires, mechanical parts, drive wheels, etc.
Conditions and Process for 30-Day Replacement.
– Product has manufacturer defects or technical errors within 30 days from purchase date or warranty activation.
– Must have 01 unboxing video clearly showing: clear serial number, detailed appearance (defects), hardware (defects), software (defects), product information distributed for online purchases
– Product remains in original condition, outer casing and body without scratches, scuffs/peeling or signs of impact, deformation, moisture, etc.
– Manufacturer information on product (inside & outside), components/accessories, foam box, accompanying documents, bags, straps, included gifts, etc. must remain intact.
– Returned device must include all components/accessories, foam box, accompanying documents, bags, straps, included gifts, etc.
– Serial number on device body and box must match.
– Does not apply to products previously exchanged/returned.
Not applicable for the following cases
– Product without serial number, dropped, broken, impacted, deformed, moisture, etc. caused by user
– Missing unboxing inspection video or unboxing video that does not clearly show: clear serial number, detailed appearance (defects), hardware (defects), software (defects), product information distributed by without proof
– Does not apply to cases of personal perception errors.
Warranty Processing Procedure – Service
- Processing time: 3 to 5 working days (excluding Sundays and holidays)
- Damaged or defective parts after repair/replacement will be recalled for product development purposes
- During the warranty period, customers can only apply for product replacement warranty 01 (one) time only. For repaired/replaced/newly exchanged warranty products, the warranty period will continue according to the original defective product’s timeframe
- Support for 1-way shipping costs during the product warranty period as shown on electronic warranty system
